What has Bubba done in this season to still be getting so much hate? Is it a race thing or is it “a RACE thing?” I hope it’s the first, because I’d hope as a family sport we would all be above hate. So, that brings me to my point…

What has he done? He is a average driver right now, driving for at the moment an average team, getting average finishes. The networks aren’t giving him any special coverage. He is just doing his thing. How can people say the hate Bubba because he runs 15th but not say a word about McDowell running 25th? Bubba isn’t any different then any other driver that runs mid pack. Whatever happened last year is over, if he did or didn’t have anything to do with flags, nooses, or anything else. It’s over, move on, NASCAR did what they thought was best for the sport and rightly so, it was going to happen sooner then later anyhow. As a fan of this great sport I support all drivers, some I like more then others for whatever reasons. I don’t like Ford drivers because I’m a Chevy guy. I don’t like Hendrick because I’m a RCR fan. But at the same time, I support the sport and that means supporting all the drivers in the end. If you don’t like Bubba as a driver that’s fine but that should be the only reason.
