Just watched the truck series race and not sure what to make of NASCAR rules at this moment. The hold and penalize Hocevar for internationally bringing out a caution. Now on the video replay it doesn’t look good, you can see him turning the wheel and whatnot but he also had a flat tire. Now JHN, was having some kind of battery issue, I guess that’s what it was. Came to a complete stop on the track, caution comes out and then he fires it off and drives away. No penalty. Now, I’m not saying JHN didn’t have an issue because he did end up behind the wall but that seems like the same thing to me. He stopped caution, then goes. Keeps himself on the lead lap. If I was Niece Motorsports I’d be upset. Even if Hocevar did spin intentionally, because KBM and JHN did the same thing. Also, in question is the timing it takes to throw a caution. Early in the race, Zane Smith had a tire let go and knocked the battery out of the truck. Battery and tire pieces on the track. Why did it take them over a lap to throw the caution? But when Hocevar spun the caution was out before he came to a stop. Whoever NASCAR has watching the track, well they need better training. We had the same issues at Some of the RC this season as well. This track spotters need to be paying attention before someone gets killed.
